), and Novell, Inc., a leading provider of Net services software, today announced a partnership that will further accelerate delivery of Web content for content publishers, service providers and e-businesses. Under the agreement, the companies will integrate Mirror Image's instaContent(SM) Global Distribution Service with Novell's Internet Caching System (ICS (1) (Internet Connection Sharing) A Windows feature that enables two or more computers to share one Internet connection. First introduced in Windows 98 Second Edition, sharing is accomplished with network address translation (NAT), which is the common method. ). Novell will also extend its caching technology to dynamically direct Web content to the Mirror Image global network of Content Access Points(TM) (CAPs). This will allow content and service providers to improve delivery times of Web content, further enhancing their customers' Web experience, increase advertisement click-through and e-commerce sales.
