Of, relating to, or derived from the senses. 2. Appealing to or gratifying the senses. 3. a. Readily affected through the senses. b. gaze. In this collection of short stories she uses the lens of the written word to explore a wide range of human emotions and experiences, reflecting and exposing inner landscapes of a selection of interesting characters inhabiting her adopted country. The stories abound with local Namibian realism. They contain humour, tenderness, sadness and anger. Some are touching, others are shocking, revealing the sharp thorns ripping (1) Converting an audio CD from its native CD-DA format to MP3, AAC or some other compressed audio format. When the term was coined, it had a perverse meaning.
