It is also known by its acronym LEOS. In the hierarchy of IEEE, the Lasers and Electro-Optics Society' is one of close to 40 technical societies organized under , on Monday, November 11th, 2002. The Symposium will take place from 2:00 to 5:30 at the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Center in Glasgow, Scotland. Dr. Pavel Mamyshev, is Vice President of Optical Transmission at Mintera Corporation and a member of the company's founding team. Previously he was a researcher at Bell Laboratories, Lucent Technologies working on high capacity fiber optic transmission systems.
