The panel discussion will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Dallas Convention Center The Dallas Convention Center, originally the Dallas Memorial Auditorium, is a meeting hall, event/convention center and civic center in the Convention Center District of downtown Dallas, Texas (USA). . Dr. Videcrantz's presentation will be on "Advances in 40G Long Haul DWDM (Dense WDM) The term given to wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) when significantly more channels were being added. Jim Black (born 1967 in Seattle, Washington) is a jazz drummer who has performed with Tim Berne and Dave Douglas, among others. He attended Berklee College of Music.

Prior to joining Mintera, Dr. Videcrantz was an account Manager at Cisco Systems, and a Systems Engineering Manager at Ericsson focusing on complete access and core network solutions for service providers in Europe. Earlier he worked for five years at the Center for Broadband Telecommunication in Denmark, where he pioneered research and development on all-optical communications systems. Over the years he has been involved in several European research programs on optical communication. Dr. Videcrantz has authored or co-authored more than 80 papers on all optical technologies published in international journals and at international conferences including several invited conference presentations. Dr. Videcrantz earned his Ph.D. and M. Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Electromagnetics Institute, Technical University of Denmark The Technical University of Denmark (Danish: Danmarks Tekniske Universitet, DTU) was founded in 1829 as the 'College of Advanced Technology' (Danish: Den Polytekniske Læreanstalt). .
