Mintera Continues Sales Momentum - Ships to New Customers in North America and EMEA.

Bryan Hall Joins Carrier Class Leadership Team as SVP Worldwide Sales

ACTON, Ma. -- Mintera([R]) Corporation, the solution leader enabling migration of optical transport to 40 Gigabits per second (Gbps) and higher in metro-core, regional and ultra long-haul networks, today announced its flagship product, the MI 40000XS, is shipping to customers in the North America and EMEA regions. Mintera's MI 40000XS is the Company's market-leading 40 Gbps DWDM transport subsystem and is already shipping to customers in the Asia Pacific region.

Mintera's new platform delivers an industry-leading transmission reach compared to other commercial products. The combination of the product's patent-pending spectrally efficient modulation format and built-in adaptive dispersion mitigation technology, which delivers market-leading chromatic and polarization dispersion tolerances, makes 40 Gbps as easy to deploy as 10 Gbps transport. The design of the MI 40000XS platform is based upon the emerging AdvancedTCA([R])300 industry standard.

To support the company's growing sales, Mintera recently expanded its sales team through the appointment of Bryan Hall as senior vice president, worldwide sales. Mr. Hall's sales experience includes more than 20 years in the carrier class equipment space with a number of successful companies including AstralPoint (acquired by Alcatel), Pirelli Systems (acquired by Cisco), Hitachi Telecom and DSC Communications (acquired by Alcatel). Mr. Hall started his career at AT&T in the Network Operations Group. "With 40 Gbps deployments expanding across the globe I'm excited to have the opportunity to help Mintera grow," said Hall.

"Bryan is an important addition to the Mintera team. As demand for our product continues in North America and internationally, his experience and knowledge of both equipment and service providers will be valuable assets," said Mintera CEO Terry Unter.
