Minnesota Lynx Donate $3,000 to Minneapolis Community and Technical College Power of YOU Program; Scholarship Presentation Will Be Made During Lynx Game on Sunday, August 6.

Last January, Minneapolis Community and Technical College (MCTC) announced it was launching Power of YOU. The program, a collaboration among MCTC, Saint Paul College and Metropolitan State University, offered Spring 2006 graduates of a Minneapolis or St. Paul high school St. Paul High School can refer to:
  • St. Paul High School in St. Paul, Arkansas
  • St. Paul High School in Santa Fe Springs, California
  • St. Paul High School in St. Paul, Kansas
  • St. Paul High School in St. Paul, Nebraska

 who were also residents of either city, a chance to attend MCTC or Saint Paul College this fall, tuition-free. As of July 30, more than 200 students have enrolled for classes at MCTC thanks to the Power of YOU. Nearly $2 million in private dollars have been raised to help support the program.
