Ministry of Interior to provide information on criminal records of candidates for judicial positions.

Information analytical center of the Ministry of Interior of Kyrgyzstan will provide information on criminal records of the candidates for judicial positions in the Supreme Court to the Council for Selection of Judges. The decision was made on June 19 at the session of the Council for Selection of Judges. Chairman of the Council Shamaral Maychiev said that the data on candidates will be handed over on June 30 after end of application process. "We need to receive all certificates on criminal records of candidates until July 5, 2012 and hold the first round of elections as soon as possible," said Maychiev.
