(ME:MDN MDN Mainichi Daily News (newspaper) MDN Ministère de la Défense Nationale (Canada) MDN Message Disposition Notification (Cisco & RFC-2298) ) Explorations MINIERES DU NORD is pleased to announce the signing of agreements permitting the acquisition of a 100 percent interest in two properties - one of 59 claims and the other of 36 claims - located near important gold-bearing discoveries in the Eastmain sector of the James Bay James Bay, shallow southern arm of Hudson Bay, c.300 mi (480 km) long and 140 mi (230 km) wide, E central Canada, in Nunavut Territory between Ont. and Que. Numerous rivers flow into the bay; many of these have been developed for hydroelectric power in Quebec (see region. The first acquisition involves the Eastmain-7 Property (Township SNRC SNRC State Nuclear Regulatory Committee (Ukraine) SNRC Sierra Nevada Research Center (US Forest Service) SNRC Service Node Routing Complex (AT&T SoIP network) 33C02), contiguous on the west side to Eastmain Resources'recent gold-bearing discovery. Acquired from Carat Explorations Inc., a private exploration company, Eastmain-7 has been the site of preliminary work over the past weeks including geophysical surveys Geophysical survey refers to the systematic collection of geophysical data for spatial studies. Geophysical surveys may use a great variety of sensing instruments, and data may be collected from above or below the Earth's surface or from aerial or marine platforms. and 3,000 feet of drilling. Samples were submitted to MINIERES DU NORD for laboratory analysis. Although the terms of the agreement have yet to be finalized, both parties have agreed to complete negotiations upon reception of laboratory results. The agreement is subject to regulatory approval. The second acquisition involves the Eastmain-2 Property (Township SNRC 33B03), contiguous on the south side to the gold-bearing discovery made jointly by Virginia Gold Mines and Diabior Resources. Acquired at a satisfactory price, with a NSR NSR abbr. normal sinus rhythm NSR Normal sinus rhythm, see there of 1.5 percent, surface sampling on this property has confirmed the presence of the precious golden metal. The Eastmain-7 and Eastmain-2 properties show geological structures similar to those recently discovered by Eastmain Resources and Virginia-Diabior.
