More than 1,000 Pop-Up scissor lifts have sold since the product's launch in January and the scissor lift won Hire Association Europe's Product of the Year Award for 2006. The scissor lift replaces the need for ladders and steps in low-level access areas and is sold to companies which specialise in equipment hire to contractors and builders. Pop-Up Products sales director Paul Gallacher said: "Pop-Up Products Ltd has been launched because of the success of our Pop-Up platform, the smallest, most compact, easily transportable, low-level scissor lift on the market - it really does access all areas."
