Mini expo, business summit in Cincinnati.


Rubber Mini Expo and the 170th Technical Meeting and Business Summit will be held October October: see month.  10-12, 2006, at the Duke Energy Center (formerly Cinergy) in Cincinnati, OH. The center has just undergone a huge remodeling remodeling /re·mod·el·ing/ (re-mod´el-ing) reorganization or renovation of an old structure.

 and expansion, and will be the ideal forum for those in the rubber industry to be seen with their newest products and innovations.

The philosophy of the Mini Expo allows all exhibitors to be featured on an even playing field, in that each company exhibits in a 10' x 10' booth space. This allows all companies the ability to market their company message equally, whether they are a million dollar corporation or a morn and pop set up. The Division anticipates that 150-200 companies will be exhibiting, and that there will be over 2,500 registrants for the show and meeting.

The second Business Summit will be held in conjunction with the expo and meeting, and will feature a keynote keynote /key·note/ (ke´not) in homeopathy, the characteristic property of a drug that indicates its use in treating a similar symptom of disease.  presentation by invited speaker Jon W. Dudas, the Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property The Under Secretary for Intellectual Property, within the United States Department of Commerce, is the Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The Under Secretary for Intellectual Property is the lead advisor to the Secretary of Commerce and the President of the  and Director of the U.S. Patent and Trade Office.

Other new features for the expo will include an internet cafe The high-tech equivalent of the coffee house. However, instead of playing chess or having heated political discussions, you browse the Internet and discuss the latest technology. CDs, DVDs, games and other "cyber stuff" are also generally available. , where attendees can check their e-mails on the show floor, as well as prize drawings for both the exhibitors and the attendees on the final day of the expo. The winners will have to be present to claim their prize. More details will follow as we get closer to the show.

The hours for Rubber Mini Expo this year will be Tuesday, October 10 and Wednesday October 11 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., and on Thursday, October 12 from 10 a.m. until 2 pm.

The Rubber Expo will be celebrating its 30th anniversary next year in Cleveland, where it all began in 1977. The show will be held at the Cleveland Convention Center from October 16-18. Next year's expo will be held in conjunction with the IRC (Internet Relay Chat) Computer conferencing on the Internet. There are hundreds of IRC channels on numerous subjects that are hosted on IRC servers around the world. After joining a channel, your messages are broadcast to everyone listening to that channel.  (International Rubber Conference), which last met with the Rubber Division at the 1999 expo in Orlando. The Exhibits and Meeting Sites Committee has been working on new ideas "New Ideas" is the debut single by Scottish New Wave/Indie Rock act The Dykeenies. It was first released as a Double A-side with "Will It Happen Tonight?" on July 17, 2006. The band also recorded a video for the track.  and concepts to make Rubber Expo bigger and better then ever! We will be featuring international pavilions on the show floor to encourage those companies wishing to promote their business in the U.S. to attend and be a part of the largest rubber show in the U.S.
