Mindreef Partners With HR-XML Consortium to Accelerate Web Services Industry Standards for Interoperability.

HOLLIS, N.H. -- New HR-XML "Profile" for Mindreef SOAPscope Server Helps the Consortium and its Members Improve Web Service Compliance, Interoperability, and SOA Quality

Mindreef(R), Inc., which helps organizations drive quality, trust, and reuse into their service-oriented architecture (SOA) deployments, today announced that it is partnering with the HR-XML Consortium to accelerate Web services industry standards for interoperability. The HR-XML Consortium is a global, non-profit consortium dedicated to the development and promotion of a standard suite of XML specifications to enable e-business and the automation of human resources (HR) related data exchanges.

The current phase of Mindreef's work with the consortium involves the creation and availability of an "HR-XML Profile" as a downloadable element for use with Mindreef SOAPscope Server (TM), a team-based platform with tools for governance, testing, diagnostics and support that span the entire service-oriented lifecycle. Teams at Wachovia, Fidelity National Financial, Charles Schwab, IBM and more than 3,000 enterprises and organizations worldwide use Mindreef products to design, implement and deploy projects faster and achieve pervasive SOA quality. The resulting quality and trust leads to increased adoption and reuse of services throughout the SOA.

Available to HR-XML members for download at http://www.hr-xml.org, the new HR-XML Profile is used early in the development process to provide teams with built-in conformance checks as they design, analyze, test and diagnose Web services using Mindreef SOAPscope Server. By laying a foundation for quality at the outset, companies can establish a process for success that will become a standard practice as new services are added to their SOA, ensuring consistent trust and reuse.

The consortium is also using the HR-XML Profile for SOAPscope Server to ensure compliance with WS-I profiles throughout the development and testing process, and to capture a diverse range of best practices in custom rules within the HR-XML Profile. It will become an important part of HR-XML's internal quality control processes going forward and will be valuable for HR-XML members looking to reduce development costs and automate e-business processes for HR-related activities by deploying Web services.
