MindSpring Builds Point of Presence in Phoenix.

) today announced it has built an Internet Point of Presence (POP) in Phoenix, Arizona Phoenix /ˈfiːˌnɪks/ (English: Phoenix, Navajo: Hoozdo, lit. "the place is hot", Western Apache: Fiinigis) is the capital and the most populous city of the U.S.  and is beginning to move customers from the third-party network it had been utilizing for its customers in the Valley. The new facility features state-of-the-art 3Com USRobotics networking equipment and supports the new v.90 protocol for 56K modem connections.
