Mills Properties Inc. earns top industry honor.Mills Properties Inc. won the St. Louis Apartment Association's 2004 Management Company of the Year award. Entries are judged on their competence in managing multifamily housing communities, involvement in the community, employee benefits and education and involvement in various multifamily housing organizations. This marks the third time in the past decade that Mills Properties has won this award. Mills Properties was founded in 1979 for the purpose of developing, owning and managing real estate in the St. Louis market including apartment% office buildings, shopping centers shopping center, a concentration of retail, service, and entertainment enterprises designed to serve the surrounding region. The modern shopping center differs from its antecedents—bazaars and marketplaces—in that the shops are usually amalgamated into and hotels.
