Millions get joy of texts.

IRELAND went text-crazy yesterday as millions of people used their fingers to wish friends a Happy New Year.
Mobile phone networks reported a bumper number of texts sent over the Christmas period.
A spokeswoman for Meteor said: "At New Year alone more than 15.4 million texts were sent and 10.7 million of those were sent between 6pm on New Year's Eve and 6am on New Year's Day New Year's Day, among ancient peoples the first day of the year frequently corresponded to the vernal or autumnal equinox, or to the summer or winter solstice. In the Middle Ages it was celebrated among Christians usually on Mar. 25. .
Celtic rockers The Pogues topped the festive download chart.
