Milipol Qatar names sponsors.

DOHA SALEH Alhamad Almana and the GET Group have been named as sponsors of Milipol Qatar 2012, organised by the Ministry of Interior (MoI) and scheduled to be held at the Qatar Exhibition Centre from October 8 to 10.

Milipol Qatar is the region's most influential trade exhibition dedicated to internal state security.

Speaking on the significance of the event, Milipol's Director of Security Events, Michael Weatherseed, said that "while the level of global economic and industrial activities remain stagnant stagnant /stagĀ·nant/ (stagĀ“nant)

Milipol Qatar 2012 is going to prove the most productive and successful event of its type anywhere in the region and we're looking forward to getting underway in a couple of months' time," he added.

This will be the ninth edition of this leading international event, which is a technological showcase for innovative products and services in the public and industrial security sectors, and tends to shape internal security policy in the Gulf and beyond. The high-profile nature of the event has attracted equally high-profile sponsors.

The Platinum Sponsor of Milipol Qatar is Saleh Alhamad Almana. Established more than 50 years ago, the company is one of the leading automotive distributors in the region and the sole distributor of Nissan, Infiniti and Renault brands in Qatar.

The GET Group has taken up the official sponsorship package. Established in 1987, GET is a world leader in Passport passport

The MoI have made it a point to provide a warm welcome to the event's attendees. Thousands of visitors and media professionals are expected to attend, and numerous security companies from the GCC GCC: see Gulf Cooperation Council.
