Milberg Weiss Bershad & Schulman LLP Announces the Proposed $15 Million Settlement of a Class Action Lawsuit Against Comerica, Inc. and Certain of Its Officers.

NEW YORK -- The lawsuit was brought on behalf of a class consisting of all persons who purchased or otherwise acquired the common stock of Comerica, Inc. (ticker symbol: CMA; CUSIP No. 200340107) during the period between July 17, 2002 and October 1, 2002, inclusive (the "Class").

The law firm of Milberg Weiss Bershad & Schulman LLP announces that pursuant to Rule 23 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and an Order of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, Southern Division, that the case known as In re Comerica, Inc. Securities Litigation, Civil Action No. 2:02cv60233 (MOB), has been certified as a class action and that a settlement with the Defendants has been proposed. A hearing will be held before the Honorable Marianne O. Battani in the United States District Courthouse, 231 W. Lafayette Blvd., Detroit, Michigan 48226, at 2:00 p.m., on October 24, 2005 to determine whether the proposed settlement should be approved by the Court as fair, reasonable, and adequate, and to consider the application of Plaintiffs' Counsel for attorneys' fees and reimbursement of expenses.

To participate in the Settlement, you must submit a Proof of Claim no later than November 23, 2005. If you are a Class Member and do not exclude yourself from the Class, you will be bound by the Order and Final Judgment of the Court. To exclude yourself from the Class, you must submit a request for exclusion, in the manner and form provided in the full printed Notice described above, postmarked no later than September 30, 2005. Any objection to the Settlement must be filed by September 30, 2005. If you are a Class Member and do not submit a proper Proof of Claim, you will not share in the Settlement but you nevertheless will be bound by the Order and Final Judgment of the Court.
