Mike Webster Named Vice President of Self-Service Solutions, a New Business Unit in NCR Focused on Growth in New Industries.


DAYTON, Ohio Dayton is a city in southwestern Ohio, United States. It is the county seat and largest city of Montgomery County. He played his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Kansas City Chiefs.  has been named vice president of the Self-Service Solutions, a new business unit in NCR focused on self-service growth in new industries, including travel, health care, public sector and gaming.

Webster will also maintain responsibility for developing and supporting solutions in the retail segment. He will report to Dan Bogan, senior vice president, Retail/Hospitality & Self-Service Solutions.

NCR provides innovative technologies such as self-checkout/check-in systems and self-service kiosks to companies worldwide.

"Mike is widely recognized for his expertise in all aspects of self-service. He and his team will be responsible for driving new sources of growth for NCR in this exciting and emerging self-service space," said Bill Nuti, chief executive officer of NCR.

Webster joined NCR in 1989 and has served as area director for Teradata, a division of NCR, executive account director for the company's retail store automation business and vice president and general manager of NCR FastLane.

Prior to his new position, Webster was vice president and general manager of NCR Self-Service in the company's retail business.

Webster holds a bachelor's degree in management from the University of Dayton The University of Dayton is one of the ten largest Catholic schools in the United States and is the largest of the three Marianist universities in the nation. It is also home to one of the largest campus ministry programs in the world. .
