Midisoft seeks participants for education pilot program.


Midisoft Corp., has launched an education pilot program to donate music technology curriculum suites to schools and organizations to help music students of under-funded schools and at-risk youth.

Midisoft's Quickstart Music series, a music technology curriculum for school and home use, teaches children not only about musicology musicology, systematized study of music and musical style, particularly in the realm of historical research. The scholarly study of music of different historical periods was not practiced until the 18th cent., and few published efforts were rigorously researched.  and literature, but also how to play the piano, compose com·pose

Peter and the Wolf is a composition by Sergei Prokofiev written in 1936 after his return to the Soviet Union. It is a children's story (with both music and text by Prokofiev), spoken by a narrator accompanied by the orchestra.
