Kurz has introduced the patented TTP TTP (thymidine triphosphate): see thymine. The single-use sizers, which are attached to the perimeter of the disk, are used intraoperatively to quickly and reliably determine the correct length of the middle ear prosthesis for a perfect fit. The cavities of varied depths serve to adjust the length of the implant. The footplate footplate /foot·plate/ (-plat) the flat portion of the stapes, which is set into the oval window on the medial wall of the middle ear.
