 market. This device offers precise, sharp, tactile, soft-tissue dissection via a hybrid, modular system. The microscissors utilize 1.0 or 1.5 mm stainless steel disposable blades mounted on 5-cm-long shafts that attach to an 11 cm, reusable, fully rotatable manual handpiece. During middle ear surgical procedures, the microscissors provide excellent access to the stapes stapes /sta·pes/ (sta´pez) [L.] the innermost of the auditory ossicles; it articulates by its head with the incus and its base is inserted into the oval window
