The award signifies the company's achievements over the past year. In order to qualify, a nomination is submitted by an ABO member and then voted on by the association's board of directors, The awards presentation took place at a gala dinner dance at The National Arts Club The National Arts Club is a private club founded in 1898 to "stimulate, foster, and promote public interest in the arts and to educate the American people in the fine arts". Since 1906 the organization has occupied the Samuel J.  in Gramercy Park Gramercy Park (sometimes misspelled as Grammercy) is a small, fenced-in private park in the Gramercy neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, New York State[1]. , with an estimated 200 people attending.
