Mid-Market Adoption of Business Process Management on the Rise in 2005; Ultimus Solutions Deliver Competitive Advantage for Rapidly Growing Firms.

In the first quarter of 2005, Ultimus had a number of significant accomplishments and expanded its staff to support its growing customer-base's needs. Key milestones included:

-- The Ultimus BPM Suite See BPM.  received two positive product reviews from leading IT weeklies--CRN and eWEEK. In both reviews, the Ultimus BPM Studio was highlighted for its ease-of-use in mapping workflows.

-- Ultimus hired Charles Dougherty as Vice President of Professional Services. Charles will be responsible for driving Ultimus' service-level partnerships with key mid-market systems integrators while providing a wide range of services to the company's current customer base.

-- The company released the latest version of the Ultimus BPM Suite - 7.0. New features include: a next generation BPM Server; enhanced support for Active Directory and LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) A protocol used to access a directory listing. LDAP support is implemented in Web browsers and e-mail programs, which can query an LDAP-compliant directory.  Directories; fine-grained administrative security; and a new robust publish/subscribe interface.

-- Ultimus was named to KMWorld's "100 Companies that Matter."
