Mid-Atlantic All Hazards Forum Offers Innovative Exhibit Floor for 2005; Streamlined Floor Plan Features Pavilions on New Technologies, Products and Services.

 officials at the federal, state and local level, announced today that it would add several new exhibition areas to the show floor for the 2005 Forum. These "pavilions" will organize vendors and sponsors in a way that provides maximum benefit for the broad range of attendees and exhibitors expected to participate in the conference, now in its second year.

 Forum organizers, the new pavilions will group exhibitors on the floor based on their product focus. This grouping by topic area will provide attendees the opportunity to quickly and easily learn about new and existing technologies, products and services they are interested in. Ideally, attendees will have the opportunity to spend more time in concentrated areas, learning more, and making better professional contacts. Pavilion topics were selected based on feedback from attendees and exhibitors at last year's conference.

Pavilions for the 2005 AHF include:

--Transportation

--First Responder Gear and Equipment

--IT Solutions and Cyber Security

"We decided to organize the exhibit floor into five pavilions that meet all the technology, procurement The fancy word for "purchasing." The procurement department within an organization manages all the major purchases.  and equipment needs of the attendee," said Ned Krause, E.J. "Our goal is to give the audience an opportunity to thoroughly investigate each pavilion area, compare and contrast products and services and gain the most benefit in the least amount of time."

Over 450 conference attendees are expected at this year's conference, including federal, state and local officials who work in the fields of homeland security and emergency management. The diversity of the attendees and the wide variety of exhibitors expected for the 2005 AHF made the pavilion concept all the more attractive. "When packaged with conference content, we believe the pavilion concept will set the 2005 AHF apart from other conferences of its kind," said Krause. "We are confident that we have created a unique and valuable conference for Mid-Atlantic stakeholders Stakeholders
