Microsoft and Pivotal advance global alliance.


Microsoft Corp. and Pivotal Corporation, a provider of customer relationship management (CRM (Customer Relationship Management) An integrated information system that is used to plan, schedule and control the presales and postsales activities in an organization. ) software for mid-sized enterprises, have announced an expansion in the companies' long-standing business development agreement to jointly target the mid-enterprise market for CRM. The expanded relationship will include highly targeted demand creation initiatives for the healthcare insurance and contact center markets.
