Microsoft Solution Provider Combines Fun and Profit With Its Commodore Emulator (C64S); C64 Emulator allows original C64 software to run on PC.


KIRKLAND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 2, 1995--Seattle Lab, primarily a provider of system and data administration tools for Microsoft's Windows NT (Windows New Technology) A 32-bit operating system from Microsoft for Intel x86 CPUs. NT is the core technology in Windows 2000 and Windows XP (see Windows). Available in separate client and server versions, it includes built-in networking and preemptive multitasking.  is enjoying an ever increasing shipment rate of its Commodore 64 Emulator (C64S).

Being their only departure from tools to "toys," the DOS based product is extending the popularity of games designed for the Commodore 64. The quantity of games available for the C64 continues to be the largest of any computer. User comments include: "I played Paradroids on my laptop this afternoon while parked in my car. Minimum system requirements are a 486 (500K RAM), VGA (Video Graphics Array) The display standard for the PC.
