Microsoft's event programming.

Microsoft has launched MSN Web Events, a Web site that will offer streaming video services and provide links to a range of media outlets. The site, unveiled on October 7, plans to incorporate animation, interactive chat rooms and streaming audio and video. Participating content providers include Warner Bros. Online, the TV Guide Entertainment Network and CNN Interactive, among others.

Will Poole, senior director of Business Development and Strategy at Microsoft, described the features of the site: "MSN Web Events allows visitors to quickly find audio and video clips of breaking news, Webcasts of concerts, live programming from the top radio stations and related streaming media content."
