Micron Enviro Systems Inc. Announces New Management Negotiating on Major Texas Project.

Micron Enviro Systems Inc. (OTCBB:MSEV) is pleased to announce that Mr. Bernie McDougall has been appointed as president of Micron Enviro Systems.

Mr. McDougall brings an extensive business background and will be able to focus on the development and growth of the company. Mr. McDougall has many contacts in the oil and gas industry. Former President, Mr. Rod Hope has chosen to pursue other opportunities and his services were appreciated. Currently MSEV is negotiating on a significant working interest in a 15-hole drill program in Texas brought to the Company by Mr. McDougall. Management states, "We are quite excited about Mr. McDougall coming on board and the prospects he will be able to bring to the company. The Company has a goal of becoming a mid-range oil and gas producer and by bringing in Mr. McDougall we feel the company is heading this way."

By working on this major Texas project MSEV has decided to decrease its working interest on the Coalinga Prospect to 2.5%. The Coalinga Prospect consists of 8,730 acres of leased land located in Fresno County, California. Partners in this project are Greka Energy Corporation (Nasdaq:GRKA), Condor Gold Fields (CDNX:YGF) and First Goldwater Resources Inc. (CDNX:FGD). According to the operator, the Coalinga Nose 1-1 Well has encountered very encouraging gas shows all throughout the sections drilled so far and due to excessive gas in the hole, a decision was made to set production casing down to 10,160 feet. This casing has been set and the operator is waiting for the next rig to complete the drilling and to test the Well. This rig is expected to be over the hole in approximately 10 days. "Based on the evidence of the massive gas shows and all the data matching what we expected based on the geological data, we are quite confident that the Coalinga Nose 1-1 Well will be successful," states management.

The property consists of 3,480 acres that is a 75-25 joint venture with GRKA and 5,250 acres that is a 50-50 joint venture. The primary target is the Cretaceous Brown Mountain Sandstone Formation. The 3-D seismic data acquired from Chevron, identified four positive amplitude anomalies interpreted rights and interests as potential gas bearing structural-stratigraphic reservoirs. This property is situated between a 503,000,000 barrel oil field and a field that has produced 2.9 Trillion Cubic Feet of Gas and 458,000,000 barrels of oil. This field is adjacent to a blow out well that was estimated to be flowing at 300,000,000 feet of gas per day and took over three years to contain. Evaluations indicate that the property may contain up to 800 Billion Cubic Feet (BCF) of gas.

The Coalinga Prospect is a parcel of 8,730 acres of leased land located in Fresno County, California, and is located less than one mile southeast of the East Coalinga extension which has produced 503 million barrels of oil. The prospect is also less than one mile northwest of the Kettleman Hills field that has produced 2.9 trillion cubic feet and 458 million barrels of oil.

Over $5,000,000 has been spent on the prospect including a 3-D seismic survey shot in 1997 covering 16 square miles including the prospect area. According to consulting engineer, Mark Anderson, this is a "superior prospect based on a quality modern 3-D seismic grid, abundant and thoroughly mapped well control" and "both production and downdip shows in the target horizon." Mr. Anderson also stated that the 3-D seismic data "clearly corroborates existing production from known stratigraphic and structural features" from the Cretaceous Brown Mt. formation that is largely untested in this area.
