Micrografx Inc. (Nasdaq:MGXI) today released iGrafx FlowCharter 2000 Professional, the first of a complete family of enterprise process management solutions to be announced by Micrografx this quarter.

iGrafx FlowCharter 2000 gives knowledge workers, managers and IT professionals an easy, intuitive way to create intelligent business process diagrams, structured diagrams, and visual models. In addition, the product excels when designing network and software diagrams, organization charts and presentation diagrams, all of which can be quickly published to the Web.

The successor to Micrografx ABC FlowCharter and iGrafx Professional, iGrafx FlowCharter 2000 is compatible with Microsoft Office, giving users the ability to utilize the solution's graphics in documents, spreadsheets, presentations and other applications.

This new version of the product includes several updated features. With the OrgCharter module, users can quickly create and edit organizational charts with the solution's building tool or by importing existing data from Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, or other comma-delimited files.

iGrafx FlowCharter 2000 also offers Microsoft Windows Installer, which allows enterprises to efficiently administer and maintain software installations and updates. The new Auto-Recover feature automatically saves work, while the Web Java and WebCGM Export features enable users to search, scroll and navigate intelligent output from any browser.

In addition to running on most Windows operating systems including Windows Me, iGrafx FlowCharter 2000 has received Microsoft's "Certified for Windows 2000" logo.
