"Micrium's embedded software products are among the most requested for implementation in our development platforms," stated Dominique Jugnon, Microcontroller Developments Tools Manager for ST Microelectronics. "Micrium not only fully supports our products with quality software, but also supports the design engineering community through participation in ST's training seminars to facilitate development on the STR7 and STR9 processor platforms."

Micrium's RTOS and TCP/IP stack were the first to be ported to the STR9 (ARM9) family, and both uC/OS-II and uC/TCP-IP were used to validate the STR9 processor. Micrium also fully supports the STR7 line of ARM7 processors including the recently released STR750.

"ST has consistently made every effort to facilitate the design engineer's job through delivery of quality ARM-based processors and training and support programs," stated Jean Labrosse, president of Micrium. "Bringing Micrium's royalty-free RTOS and TCP/IP stacks, including complete source code, to the STR7 and STR9 processor families clearly enhances its product offerings to the development community."
