The Preview Party allows collectors and first-time visitors alike an advance opportunity to view and purchase artworks in a festive atmosphere. The evening's entertainment includes live music by Michigan musicians Wendell Harrison, Marion Hayden and Pam Wise, a Vintage Fashion Show by "Vintage Chic" and hors d'oeuvres, a complimentary wine bar sponsored by Papa Joe's Gourmet Market in Birmingham and a cash bar.

The Preview Party is a benefit for ArtServe Michigan, www.artservemichigan.org, a statewide arts advocacy organization that supports and advocates for the arts and cultural education in the state of Michigan. ArtServe Michigan accomplishes its mission by working with artists, educators, cultural organizations, businesses, volunteers and others through statewide programs, services and a variety of collaborative efforts.

"When ArtServe first approached me about participating in this event I could not say yes fast enough. Being a fan of the Modernism Movement and a supporter of ArtServe Michigan, offering collectors the opportunity to preview and purchase early while raising funds for ArtServe Michigan seemed like the perfect match -- an evening not to be missed," said Amy Kantgias, event chair.

Tickets to the Preview Party are $75.00 in advance, $100.00 at the door, and $150.00 patron. People interested in attending the Preview Party should contact ArtServe Michigan's Southfield office at (248/557-8288, ext. 17) or email tech@artservemichigan.org
