SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 10, 2001

Michael S. Khoury has joined the law firm of Raymond & Prokop, P.C. as a principal in the practice areas of computer and information technology, electronic commerce, intellectual property and commercial transactions.

CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Mr. Khoury joined Raymond and Prokop, P.C. from DaimlerChrysler Corporation where he served in the Office of General Counsel and was extensively involved in information technology, electronic commerce and complex commercial matters. He was previously vice president, general counsel and secretary of Comshare, Inc., a publicly traded software company in Ann Arbor Ann Arbor, city (1990 pop. 109,592), seat of Washtenaw co., S Mich., on the Huron River; inc. 1851. It is a research and educational center, with a large number of government and industrial research and development firms, many in high-technology fields such as , Mich. He also practiced for 16 years with the Detroit-based firm of Clark Hill, PLC, where he was a senior member and led that firm's bankruptcy and information technology practices.

Mr. Khoury is admitted to practice in the State of Michigan, the federal courts of the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan and the Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan where is he former chair of the Computer Law Section, a member of the Council of the Business Law Section, and currently serves as the Director, Technology, for the Business Law Section. He is active in the Sections of Business Law, Science and Technology and Intellectual Property Law of the American Bar Association American Bar Association (ABA), voluntary organization of lawyers admitted to the bar of any state. Founded (1878) largely through the efforts of the Connecticut Bar Association, it is devoted to improving the administration of justice, seeking uniformity of law . Mr. Khoury is a founding member of the Cyberspace Law Committee of the Business Law Section and is co-chair of that committee's Application Service Provider working group.

He is also member of the Computer Law Association and is a frequent national and local lecturer and contributing author on the subjects of computer and information technology, intellectual property, electronic commerce and commercial law.

Mr. Khoury earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan (body, education) University of Michigan - A large cosmopolitan university in the Midwest USA.
