Michael R. Laginestra honored at AHRC's "A Special Night for Special Children".


The 20th Annual "A Special Night for Special Children," honoring Michael R. Laginestra of Insignia/ESG, Inc., raised nearly $600,000 for programs and services of the Association for the Help of Retarded Children. The dinner is hosted by the real estate and construction industries of New York City New York City: see New York, city.

Mr. Laginestra, a vice chairman of Insignia/ESG, was honored for his business and philanthropic achievements.

He joined the station in 1998 after three years working at WNBC-TV in New York. , co-anchor of the WB11 Mews at Ten, was master of ceremonies for the event, which was attended by approximately 500 people. Valerie Romanoff's Starlight Orchestra provided music for dancing.
