Michael's David.

Thank you for your wonderful article on Michael C. Hall Michael Carlisle Hall (born February 1 1971) is a Golden Globe and Emmy Award-nominated American actor, best known for his roles as David Fisher in the HBO drama series Six Feet Under and the title character of the Showtime series Dexter.  ["Hall of Love and Death," June 8]. As a lover of musical theater, I've had the good fortune to see him as the pansexual pan·sex·u·al

Relating to, having, or open to sexual activity of many kinds.

n.
A pansexual person.

Emcee in Cabaret and the very heterosexual Billy Flynn in Chicago. While I would like to see more gay actors cast in gay roles, it is refreshing to see a straight actor whose portrayal of a gay man is unflinchingly honest. His character on Six Feet Under is a complete picture of a homosexual male, unlike the Queer as Folk Queer as Folk may refer to:
  • Queer as Folk (UK TV series) (1999-2000), a British television series about a group of gay men
  • Queer as Folk (US TV series) (2000-2005), a North American remake of the British series

After reading your feature about Six Feet Under, I have to wonder why your magazine interviewed only one of the actors who plays a gay character. Mathew St. Patrick Mathew St. Patrick (born March 17, 1968) is an American actor. He has starred in the television soap opera All My Children (1998-2000), starred (2001-2005) as Keith Charles on HBO drama Six Feet Under, was the first voice of Skulker (2004) on  plays a gay African-American male on the show, a persona that is rarely seen or celebrated on TV or in the movies. His omission from your article only reinforces the sometimes unintentional but pervasive invisibility of people of color Noun 1. people of color - a race with skin pigmentation different from the white race (especially Blacks)
people of colour, colour, color

race - people who are believed to belong to the same genetic stock; "some biologists doubt that there are important
