Miami Gardens to receive millions for park improvements.

Everything is coming up roses for the city of Miami Gardens, as the community is set to receive more than $33 million for capital improvements to local parks from state, county and city revenue sources.

The improvements will include overhaul of equipment, amenities, park design and recreational programming. The community met through a series of workshops to give input on which of the 13 city parks would receive improvements.
