She is back in London and back at sea after her sojourn in Boston in the last book. One amusing element is that her school friend Amy from Boston wrote and published a book about Jacky's adventures that has become a best seller even in London, so she has become a celebrity of sorts. The year is 1804 and England and France are at war. Of course, Jacky gets into the thick of the sea battles, even the mighty Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. Her personal life has its ups and downs ups and downs pl.n.
