Metropolis Realty Trust, Inc. announced that it has entered into an agreement to sell all of its interests in 237 Park Avenue in Manhattan to a private investor. The closing of the sale is subject to due diligence Research; analysis; your homework. This term has caught on in all industries, because it sounds so "wired." Who would want to do analysis or research when they can do due diligence. See wired.  and other customary closing conditions. The sale is expected to close during the fourth quarter, although there can be no assurance that the sale will be consummated.

The property at 237 Park Avenue is a 21-story Class A office building with approximately 1.2 million rent able square feet of space. The building, centrally located in Midtown Manhattan, is situated off one of New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 City's most prestigious thoroughfares and is within close proximity to Grand Central Station. The property serves as the corporate headquarters for J. Walter Thompson Walter Thompson refers to:
  • Walter H. Thompson, bodyguard of Winston Churchill for eighteen years between 1921 and 1945.
  • Walter P. Thompson, President of the University of Saskatchewan 1949-1959.
 Company, a major advertising company, and Credit Suisse The Credit Suisse Group (SWX:CSGN, NYSE: CS) is a financial services company, headquartered in Zürich, Switzerland. It is the second-largest Swiss bank, behind UBS AG.  Asset Management, a financial services organization. The property is currently 98 percent leased.
