Conventional fuels such as gasoline and diesel are gradually being replaced by alternative fuels such as gaseous fuels (natural gas and propane), alcohol (methanol and ethanol), and hydrogen.
 conversion and service company, announced today that it had ended the year with a 20 percent increase in conversion sales and over a million dollars of work in progress.

"The trend to alternative fuels is undeniable," said Ron Breeding, Metropane's vice president of corporate development. "The problem, we expect this year and beyond, is keeping up with demand." Metropane customers include the state of Arizona, the city of Baltimore, the New York/New Jersey Port Authority and numerous utility and commercial fleets who are required to comply with numerous federal and local clean air mandates.

Metropane began operation in 1989, has delivered over 2,000 conversions and is one of only nine companies certified See certification.  by the American Gas Association.
