Metreon Announces 4th Annual Global Sight & Sound Event; Friday June 3rd Event Coincides with United Nations World Environment Day 2005 Workshops at Metreon.SAN FRANCISCO -- Metreon is pleased to announce the lineup for the 4th Annual Global Sight and Sound community event to be held on Friday, June 3rd between 9pm and 2am. This event showcases the vibrant technology, art, music, dance, media and community organizations that reflect the cultural richness in San Francisco and around the globe. This year's Global Sight and Sound coincides with the United Nations World Environmental Day 2005 Workshops hosted by San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom at Metreon from June 1-5. To promote the significance of World Environment Day, this year's Global Sight and Sound will feature artists and community leaders who support global arts and environmental issues.
