 Microscope, a simple operation that accommodates users at every level of expertise for instantaneous observations. Built with a solid cast aluminum frame, the LX-31 is equipped with ergonomically placed controls (light intensity adjustment dial, focusing knob and stage handles) for easy handling. Using brightfield observation, the LX-31 offers objectives of 5X. 10X, 20X, and 50X that come standard on a 4-position revolving nosepiece nosepiece /nose·piece/ (noz´pes?) the portion of a microscope nearest to the stage, which bears the objective or objectives.
