MetaMetrics Chairman and CEO Stenner Elected to NISS Executive Committee.

DURHAM, N.C. -- A. Jackson Stenner was recently elected to a three-year term on the executive committee of the National Institute of Statistical Sciences (NISS), an independent research institute located in Research Triangle Park, N.C. Stenner is the chairman and chief executive officer of MetaMetrics(R) Inc., developer of The Lexile Framework(R) for Reading. E[acute accent]Established in 1990, NISS is a national leader in performing and encouraging cross-disciplinary research involving statistics. Stenner has been an NISS member since it was founded and has served on the institute's board of directors for four years. As the most widely adopted reading measure in use today, Lexiles provide a common scale for matching reader ability and text difficulty, allowing easy monitoring of student progress and ensuring reading comprehension.
