MetaLINCS Joins First Project Aimed at Defining Best Practices in E-Discovery Market; Electronic Discovery Reference Model Project will Help Establish Standards to Shape Future of Rapidly Evolving Industry.

As a project member, MetaLINCS will work with other industry leaders to develop a publicly available reference model describing the concepts and relationships that comprise the E-Discovery process, as well as provide a common, flexible and extensible framework for the development, selection, evaluation and use of E-Discovery products and services.

Formed in May of this year, the Electronic Discovery Reference Model Project will address the lack of standards and guidelines in the new E-Discovery market. The Project's member organizations include leading providers of electronic discovery related products and services, prominent law firms, and corporate counsel.
