Met Life leases in Westport

The Managed Care Services Group of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company announced that they have signed a long term lease for 60,000 square feet of space in the Westport Corporate Office Park on Greens Farms Greens Farms (also spelled in its original form, Green's Farms) is a neighborhood or section in the town of Westport in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States.  Road.

 John Goodkind, vice president, Leasing, of the Mendik Company, owners and developers of the property, Metropolitan Life will occupy the entire South building of the two-building, 120,000 square foot complex. Goodkind said that this lease represents one of the largest commercial rental transactions in Fairfield County Fairfield County is the name of three counties in the United States:
  • Fairfield County, Connecticut
  • Fairfield County, Ohio
  • Fairfield County, South Carolina
 this year.

The Managed Care Services Group of MetLife, which has relocated from offices in Norwalk and Westport, is expected to occupy the new facilities by early January, 1992. The building was formerly the home of United Technologics/ Norden Systems who occupied it for 10 years.

Westport Corporate Office Park was built in 1980 by Mendik, a large New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of

Other tenants in the North building include M.T. Maritime Management Corporation and New England New England, name applied to the region comprising six states of the NE United States—Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The region is thought to have been so named by Capt.  Consulting Company.

The Mendik Company is a commercial and residential real estate firm that manages and owns more than 12 million square feet of space in Manhattan, Westchester and Connecticut, at a portfolio value of more than $2.5 billion.
