Although we will miss the warm sunny weather of some of our previous sites, Chicago will provide plenty of activity for everyone who would like to participate in the biggest and best baseball clinic Noun 1. baseball clinic - a meeting at which baseball players receive special evaluation and instruction; "a summer baseball clinic for promising young players"
clinic - meeting for diagnosis of problems and instruction or remedial work in a particular activity
 of the year.

Second Vice-President Kent Shelley has commitments from a number of outstanding baseball coaches and the early January starting date will assure us of a head start on preparations for another great season. (Timing is everything!)

The convention will begin (January 5) with business meetings at every level of the game to provide the opportunity for coaches to update their level of baseball and participate with fellow coaches in making decisions on important issues.

With over 3,000 baseball coaches on hand, we will have the opportunity to honor As a verb, to accept a bill of exchange, or to pay a note, check, or accepted bill, at maturity. To pay or to accept and pay, or, where a credit so engages, to purchase or discount a draft complying with the terms of the draft.  some of the coaches and people who have done so much for our game. I encourage all of our coaches and wives to attend both the Hall of Fame/Coach of the Year Banquet A banquet is a large public meal or feast, complete with main courses and desserts. It usually serves a purpose, such as a charitable gathering, a ceremony, or a celebration. Sometimes a banquet consists of only desserts, but it is advisable to include main courses as well.  and the Honors Luncheon.

Last year we set all kinds of records for our annual convention. Records are made to be broken, and I hope to see even more coaches and their wives in Chicago.

Hopefully, this will mark the beginning of a great baseball season for you, your team, and your new friends, and the broadening of your knowledge of the game.

Come visit with your old and new friends and keep the game of baseball moving forward.

See you in the "Windy City."
