Merriman Curhan Ford & Co. Adds Four Seasoned Professionals to Its Brokerage Business; Raymond Velasquez, Paulina Apostolides, Alan Ebright and Tom Grimstad Bring over 40 Years of Experience to MCF's Sales and Trading Areas.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Merriman Curhan Ford & Co., a securities broker-dealer and investment bank, and subsidiary of MCF Corporation (AMEX:MEM), today announced the addition of four seasoned executives to its brokerage business.

Raymond Velazquez, formerly of IRG Research and Goldman Sachs, will become a managing director and senior trader. The rest of the new hires will become senior vice presidents of the firm and include: Paulina Apostolides, formerly of The Vertical Group, as a senior trader; Alan Ebright, formerly of Roth Capital, as a senior salesman; and Tom Grimstad, formerly of Roth Capital, as a senior sales trader.

Mr. Velazquez began his career at Goldman Sachs, where he worked for 19 years as a senior Nasdaq trader. Most recently, he was director of institutional trading at IRG Research.

Mr. Ebright began his career at Crowell Weedon & Co., working on the floor of the Pacific Stock Exchange. Most recently, he worked in sales at Roth Capital.

Ms. Apostolides brings over 17 years of experience in OTC market making in all market capitalizations. She began her career as a senior trader at Oppenheimer & Co. (formerly Fahnestock). Most recently, she worked at OTCBB trading firm The Vertical Group.

Mr. Grimstad began his career at Lehman Brothers in New York, trading on the US cash desk. Most recently, he worked at Roth Capital as a sales trader.
