Merrill Corporation Announces The Acquisition Of Superstar Computing
Superstar Computing will operate as a subsidiary of Merrill Corporation, and will be closely associated with Merrill Corporation's Merrill/May division, which provides marketing communications materials to the real estate, financial services and franchise industries.
"Our goal is to provide value-added services to our customers," said John Castro, president and CEO of Merrill Corporation. "As technology begins to revolutionize the real estate business, it is natural for us as a technology leader to assist our customers in making the transition. Superstar Computing is recognized as a driver of technology for the real estate industry and is a good addition to Merrill."
Superstar Computing was co founded in 1992 by Roald Marth and Elizabeth Chesen. Marth and Chesen, along with Superstar Computing President Scot Kenkel, will remain active in the company.
"Merrill is a great fit for us," said Marth. "Besides providing the financial and technology support to expand our training resources, each of us is now able to provide our respective customers with a broader range of services."
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
