Meridian Meridian (mərĭd`ēən), city (1990 pop. 41,036), seat of Lauderdale co., E Miss., near the Ala. line; settled 1831, inc. 1860.  announced the following transactions:

* A $3.5 million new mortgage for two retail/ office loft buildings on W. 23rd St. in New York City New York City: see New York, city.

. The loan featured a 5.375% rate and a seven-year term.

Sean McKissic and David M. Rosenberg negotiated this transaction;

* A $1.56 million new mortgage for a five-story walk-up building on Eastburn Ave. in the Bronx. The loan featured a 4.72% rate and a seven-year term.

Avi Weinstock and Moshe Majeski negotiated this transaction;

* A $1 million new mortgage for a six-story coop COOP

 building on E. 71st St. in New York City. The loan featured a 5.68% rate and a 15-year term. Steve Geller and Joseph Taub negotiated this transaction;

* A $1.05 million new mortgage for a two-story elevator building on 41st St. in Queens, N.Y. The loan featured a 5.25% rate and a 10-year term. Aaron M. Birnbaum and Carol Shelby negotiated this transaction;

* A $1.475 million new mortgage for a six-story elevator building on Linden Boulevard Linden Boulevard is a boulevard in New York City. It starts off at Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn and stretches through both Brooklyn and Queens. This boulevard, especially the area of Cambria Heights between Springfield Boulevard and the Nassau County line represents a smaller  in Brooklyn, N.Y. The loan featured a 5.375% rate and a seven-year term. Morris Diamant negotiated this transaction;

* A $1.25 million new mortgage for a 13,100 s/f retail building on Lincoln Ave. in Roslyn Heights Roslyn Heights (rŏz`lĭn), uninc. residential village (1990 pop. 6,405), Nassau co., SE N.Y., on Long Island. William Cullen Bryant lived and is buried in nearby Roslyn. , N.Y. The loan featured a 5.75% rate and a 12-year term. Allan Lieberman negotiated this transaction.
