. To date he has conducted over 8,000 diagnostic tests from bone density to metabolic tests within 45 Curves for Women ("Curves") locations.

The grant the Company has provided is for a clinical research study using the Digital Pulse Analyzer ("DPA DPA - Data Protection Act ") to test members of Curves. The tests will measure the effects of exercise and diet and cardiovascular and circulatory improvement on Curves participants. The Company feels fortunate to have Curves use our product for clinical research as Curves has over 5,000 fitness centers and over one million members in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. .

The research study is based on a test group of approximately 28 participants over a 45-day period using the Curves exercise and diet program. The study is in its second phase and is expected to be complete the final study by September 14, 2004.

The first phase of Dr. McHale's study with the DPA has shown a 48% improvement over a 45-day period to date. This translates into an average of 8.9 years of improvement in total cardiovascular heath and life span potential if the program is adhered to.
