Meridian Enters into a $6,000,000 Sales Contract for New Lipo-Laser Product.

:MRDAF), is very pleased to announce it has entered into an exclusive distributorship agreement with a Korean medical equipment distributor, HealthTech Valley Co., Ltd. ("HealthTech") for its new product, the Lipo-Laser on June 30, 2005.

HealthTech has exclusive marketing and distributorship rights for the Lipo-Laser in Korea and has agreed to purchase US$6,000,000 of this product from Meridian as well as prepay US$500,000 within 45 days after signing the agreement.

HealthTech has launched a massive advertising campaign through three major national daily newspapers in Korea. HealthTech plans to extend its full-page advertisement to all national daily papers in July 2005.

Lipo-Laser is a modified version of the Lapex-2000 which recently received US FDA FDA
