Royal Tournament of Kalior Open to all Meridian 59 guilds, the Royal Tournament of Kalior pits guild against guild in a ten-on-ten battle to the death in the newly enhanced Arena of Kranaan. The winning guild members will take home a special golden sword for their trophy case. Members of all other competing guilds will receive special medieval helmets in recognition of their brave participation. Prior to the event, each guild will choose which of its members will fight in the tournament and then register with a Meridian Guardian. A tournament tree will be posted on the Meridian 59 website throughout the event. The first round will kick off on Dec. 6, 1996, followed by second and third rounds beginning on Dec. 14. The final tournament round will precede the Royal Banquet of Kalior on Dec. 20, 1996. Royal Banquet of Kalior Set in never-before-seen areas of the Duke's castle, the Royal Banquet of Kalior is a festive social event where players will gather to converse and celebrate their success in the Royal Tournament of Kalior. This special celebration features entertainment, contests, and door prizes along with a plentiful abundance of new food and drink items.
