Ga., appoints Kevin Carroll as global head of human resources and a member of its management committee. Carroll will oversee the development and refinement of the company's global strategic human resource plan. He will also assume responsibility for enhancement of Merial's corporate culture on a global basis. Carroll has headed the human resources function in North America since September 2000. He led the rapid development of recruiting and training strategies to support the consolidated business, customer service and knowledge functions during the transition of the company's headquarters to Duluth. In addition to building the North American human resources team from the ground up, Carroll led and actively participated in several global initiatives in the areas of compensation, benefits and professional development.
